Tom Beard Biography

Tom Beard, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, painted the two panoramas on these interpretive signs at Byram’s Ford. Tom is a well-known local artist. His best-known works are “The Pioneers” bronze sculpture located in Pioneer Park at 4059 Broadway in Kansas City, Missouri, and the “Jim Bridger” bronze sculpture located at the National Frontier Trails Museum, 318 W. Pacific Ave, Independence, Missouri.
